Or you can just search for it if you don't commit the keyboard shortcut to memory. You can also find the Snip & Sketch tool listed in the alphabetical list of apps accessed from the Start button as well as in the notification panel where it's listed as Screen snip. The easiest way to call up Snip & Sketch is with the keyboard shortcut Windows key + Shift + S. It can now capture a screenshot of a window on your desktop, a surprising omission when the app was first introduced that kept us on Team Snipping Tool until recently. Selected text will go into the bin with a mouse click (or of course command c.The Snip & Sketch tool is easier to access, share and annotate screenshots than the old Snipping Tool. Way to GO! OH! and I was so shocked when I select text within any app, and click the right arrow next to the empty bin, viola! No copy/paste needed. Wow and Thank you is what I say to iClip Developers. And I can even choose to keep the iClip bins visible at all times. The keyboard customization is awesome too. The icons are so intuitive, even my silly brain can easily understand what will happen with each click. The ease of use is very impressive to me as my brain disease makes it hard to learn new tasks. This app is my daily, all day, goto for new clips, customized storage bins, image captures, etc. I have a terminal brain disease with severe memory loss. This iClip software is my favorite one for its ease of use, visible bins, configurations abilities, apple script, and the list goes on. I have used Butler, Fl圜ut, PasteBot, ClipMenu, and a dozen other ones. My Favorite Clipboard Manager for 20 years in the words of Apple "It just works!" Thanks developers for this extrimely usefull software. By the way, I never had any issues or crashes. Tried many other utilities, but iClip is the best, on my oppinion. I love the fact that you can backup and restore Clips, arange them in Folders and Title them, choose the monitor you want it to appiare (I have 2 monitors), assigne mouse and keyboard shorcuts and many other customizations. iClip is very easy to use, highly customizable and very light on processor. I would categorize this utility as Business nessesaty and not just productive software. I'm eBay power seller, plus running several on-line stores, so as you can imagine, I'm costantly re-using the same clips, phrases, email replies, and sentances. Went through many Mac OS updates and iClip still works like a charm. I don't remember when exactly, but I think I purchased iClip 3-4 years ago. It works with issues and has for years and years. It is very well designed, it is incredibly feature rich. it stays hidden until I need it simply by moving my mouse to the edge of the screen. It doesn't take up space menu bar or dock. Not to the same degree and not as intensive as frequently but it still is my go-to clipboard application and I use it many time per day. Other than the word processer I was using, it was the most used application on my mac when I was writing engineering papers and reorganizing them during edits and revisions as well as saving time by resuing snippits of text that I frequently retyped. I found iClip years and years ago when I was working on my degree and needed a utility that allowed me manage my copy and pastes and especially be able to save snippets that I used all the time to be reused with a couple clicks as well as be able to go back to previous clips and reuse them. Just move your cursor to the side of the screen and iClip pops out for instant use. IClip was designed to be accessed as simply as the Mac's Dock.
